Crossbars & Basket

I received my Crossbars from [MENTION=51141]VonMussa[/MENTION] this afternoon. :thanks:

Took the 10minutes to mount em' up, and then threw on my Yakima Loadwarrior!

Snow!

Took my limited out in the snow with the new wheels and tires. Why didn't I make the switch sooner? Wow still handles like a champ in the turns and on the highway and now has some real traction. Not to mention it looks better, IMHO.

Gratuitous Gobi Rear LED Light Mod

Lighting up the night (during the day)

Tops are Phantom LED's http://www.phantomtrailhawk.com/ (diffused spot 2 light package)...bottom's are Rigid SR-M flush mounts http://www.rigidindustries.com/SRMFl...ed-p/92251.htm

I'll also post a night shot..got the tops finished today.

I like the Phantoms a lot...small profile and powerful.... they certainly keep up with the Rigids....very happy with both.

Titan that roof rack looks NICE...details

I'm wanting to put one on my Blizzard Pearl SR5 ('12) and looking around. Only real concern is interferring with the sun roof opening.

As for what I did? I played volleyball dad all weekend...lol...and waiting for the weather to warm up enough to take it out and get some good photos. I refuse to take photos of a 4Runner (or any other vehicle designed for off road uses IMO) on pavement

...especially if I'm gonna whip out the big camera and get it all set up.

Thanks bro...it's the GOBI Stealth....from Ducamonster over at High Tech...the sun roof is open for the time being, but I'm in the process off welding up a bracket to hold my Rotopax in that space...removable of course.

I finally replaced the factory shift knob that I hated since my first test drive. I got a "Black Ice" aluminum shifter from Ellis Precision (a.k.a. "FJoel" on fjcruiserforums.com) and I'm really happy with it. The crappy cell phone pic doesn't do it justice, the matte black anodize matches the interior perfectly. He will do custom etching on the top and it would have looked pretty sweet with a "T4R" logo... Here's where I found it: NEW! "BlackIce" Smooth-Top Shifters!

Drove it to work today (first day as a new owner) but picked it up and took official possession of it last night. Here is the shot at the dealership of my Jeep that I drove in and my 4Runner that I drove out with!

I tested out the 4WD system for the first time. I've only owned the 4Runner since Thur though.

Went with gramps to check out our farm. You can either take a 15 minute detour around several farms, or cut across 2 freshly plowed cotton fields from the County Road.....

I cut across. Very loose plowed dirt about 6 inches deep. Got stuck in the first 20 feet in 2Hi, dropped it into 4Hi and plowed on through without a hitch. I'm impressed.

I did the Tailgate Cup Holder Mod, as posted by [MENTION=65614]Antman[/MENTION]!

I really wish I would have done this awhile ago. I recall wishing the holders were there after a good mountain bike ride last Fall. Had to recovery with some adult beverages of course! :beer:

Note: you still need to do some trimming/grinding to fit the cup holders, even when using a 2-3/4" hole saw.

I guess they don't put the emblems on the sides of the 4runners in Canada? (that says Limited)

I know! Hence my question regarding your running boards! I thought I would always be a Black/Silver guy, but this is a great colour for this vehicle. I also liked the chrome exhaust tip you have too.

Weird eh (lol)? Not sure why they have these silly differences. I suppose Limited is too pretentious for Canadians. It's probably the truth too lol. I may see if someone on here wants to let their Limited badges/emblems go- not sure if I want them yet. For now I will look into running boards like Carl/Bay33saw and the chrome exhaust tip.

Picked up a new flashlight on Sunday so I just had to do the [MENTION=65614]Antman[/MENTION] Flashlight Holder Mod.

The flashlight is a Streamlight ProTac HL, it's a bit pricey but imo well worth every penny.

Nice 600 lumens is crazy bright, I have a few streamlight's but my favorite is this Fenix

Fenix LED Flashlight- TK15 S2

I need to do this mod, but the summers are brutal out here and I'm worried the battery in the flashlight will leak or explode....LOL 115 degrees outside equals 150+ inside the car.

Thanks. I had to look that up. The vehicles are on a slight slope so perhaps it's a bit exaggerated. The Jeep is sitting a bit higher.
