LIft question and FJ springs

I had assumed the extra wraps were on the drivers side to weight compensate. Then I learned that extra wraps, with no other changes, actually reduce spring rate (softer). Then I saw the SR5s with the extra wrap on the passenger side.

I've learned a lot but am obviously still missing a few Thens.

Finally got these on my truck and the result is exactly the same as guys are getting with FJ springs.

The FJs produce almost no rear lift but is the ride firmer? can anyone verify
