I used the right words and approached the problem like a professional. Shop Management responded in kind. The store manager acknowledged that mistakes were made and offered to fix them at no charge. We discussed various options and this is how the story ended:
The store manager and assistant manager handled the problem better than I expected. I am completely satisfied with their response and action.

- They brought in a vehicle welding tech with 30 years experience to repair the body mount chop. No more hack job. The modified body mount is now "boxed in."
- Previously installed wheels and spacers were removed. New Pro Comp Series 7089 Wheels were installed. The width and backspace on these wheels is definitely more appropriate for my vehicle.
- The BF Goodrich 285's are now inside the fender well. No more rubbing at full lock when pulling into my sloped driveway. No more non-functional "affliction t-shirt" styling. Definitely more clearance.

I still would not use them or referr anyone to a shop like. It just sucks that you could have avoided the BMC completly by having the right wheels/tires in the first place.
