Cooper Discoverer ATP 285/70/17 E rating
I mixed and matched parts, was going for budget, but quality components. Spent $1480 on all of the above components (340 on suspension, 1140 on wheels and tires). The FJ shocks were Bilstein's (Trail team?) in nearly new condition. I wanted some heavier springs, with shocks to match, for towing and payload help. Haven't driven it much, so height might settle. I pulled running boards, front mud flaps, relocated the front fender liner (redrilled holes), and slightly trimmed the front corner of the bumper.

Suppose to be 3' front 2' back. I never got stock numbers >.< . When I get my tires and wheels on I'll get some measurements.

So I have tried to find a tech info thread on this but haven't found one and am looking for a real answer. I have a 2007 sport 4runner v8 with the 17x7.5 +30mm wheels and I am looking at a set of 17x8.5 +01mm with a back spacing of 4.8". I have a 3" front lift and a 2" rear with toyotec and bilstein coil overs. My question is will the new tires be flush with the fenders or not. Any help would be highly appreciated!

First, I want to verify that offset, did you mean +10mm offset? If so, my wheels are 18x8.5 +10mm and here are some pics showing all angles of how the tires/wheels line up with the body. These are 285 tires too.

Mine wasn't an intentional lift. A while ago I posted that I stupidly put Monroe quick struts and OE spectrums on my truck. Quickly found out they were junk and put in Bilstien 4600"s. I kept the monroe front coils as they were new and seemed okay, the rear coils are original.
I ended up with 20" front and 21.5" rear measured from centre of the wheel to the wheel well.
Here's an old pic with the original front shock and coil. About a 2" difference I think.

Howdy vain2765 - planning a similar lift/tire mod. Like the track and stance of your setup! What's the offset/backspacing on your 7089s? -6mm/4.75"? Any spacers used? Thx!

There are some really nice rigs in here!
I currently own a 2nd gen 4runner and am looking to upgrade to a 4th gen. I was wondering if someone could vouch for me if the information that I have researched is correct.
I do not plan on getting a lift and just want to run stock suspension when I first get the truck.
With that being said it looks like I could run a 265-70-17 size tire with no lift and be A okay, but I wanted to ask you all if I could run a 275-70-17 tire with no lift and not rub at full lock?
They will be going on a set of 17x8.5 with 4.30in of Backspace.

I am planning on doing the same lift but without the top plate spacers. How much lift did you get?
Did you need aftermarket UCA's?
Did you do anything with the sway bar? How does it drive?
