Looked at your thread and I love your truck. I so want to lift my truck but it needs to stay under 9' so I don't have to drop my seat when hauling the bike. I still may do it and just lower the seat for the once a month ride I do there. Or at least level the front.

That would be great! Please shoot me a PM when you are going to take them in for powercoating, and let me know how much he charges.

The Trail hood is the next modification. However the one that came in was damaged and they are now back ordered.

Hopefully it will be in next week which would be awesome.

I want to thank the guys at St Charles Autobody for getting me my new hood.

Very happy and the truck is getting closer to being completed.

Anyone need a stock hood.

Fellow fatbiker here... I ride all kinds of MTB bikes, but currently have the most fun on my Salsa bucksaw.

Question. why did you want a roof rack for your bikes. I find them to be a complete PITA to load the bikes on... Especially when it is a SUV with a high roof. Hitch carrier seems so much easier and convenient. Just curious.

Actually I use both. If I'm going long distances where I stop on the way the bike goes on the roof. It's much safer on the roof then on back of the truck.

Yea, bikes are not cheap.... But it seems like fatbikes up top would be quite a sail i the wind.

I do like the fact that I can take the front wheel off, drop my seat. and put my bike in the truck. Have not test fitted any fatbikes in there yet though. And mine is usually much more of a mess than my regular bikes.

Also, it won't stop someone who really wants them with all the required tools..., but I have used a big thick cable lock to secure the bikes to the receiver while on the hitch carrier. It would slow them down quite a bit.

Way to much. All in $1400.00 with Paint and install which only took a few minutes. Still cheaper then the carbon hood on my Camaro.

Ain't that the truth.

I did all of this so I can have the 3rd Row, Heat & Cooled Seats, JBL Stereo, Keyless Entry & Exit, Sunroof and what ever else they added to the limited.

ps I am looking at possible swapping to the Trail Front Cover but that is not happening anytime soon.

Okay need some help/advise.

Now that I have the Hood with the Cosmetic scoop I am considering installing a LED Bar in the Hood Scoop.

I'd call these guys and see if the parts are universal or universal enough that you can only slightly modify it instead of making your own from scratch if that's not an option. Let us know of it works and how you plan on controlling the glare off the hood.

Thanks for the help I appreciate it. After staring at the hood last night (wife had my truck yesterday) there just isn't enough room for a light bar so I pretty sure I am just going to add a set of ditch lights to the front.

Thanks for the compliments on the Fatties and the old school GT is why I married my wife. Back in the day it was hard to find a girl that rode let alone one that rode a full XTR Zaskar.

Blacking out and Collecting a few new parts

Did a couple minor mods to the truck.

Blacked out some of the chrome with the No-Lux kit and I also installed a console organizer which is I think the best mod I have done so far. I can actually find stuff in that black hole.

I have been collecting parts for the TRD Front End swap for months now. I am also planning to install a 20" Light bar behind the grille.

I hadn't seen your thread before. Big fan of what you've done. I'm modifying my Baja roof rack to accommodate two more bikes myself. That Redwood interior is the best, too. Nice work!

Please post some pics as I would like to see what you came up with. I am working on an idea to add a 3rd bike reversed between the two bikes.
