Finally buttoned up the center console upgrade. New double-din head unit and USB port install. Sent the climate control unit and clock to @JRZEE2000T4RLTD and got them back and install, awesome work and very quick!

Funny you should mention over tightened oil filters. I changed the oil on a friends pathfinder a few months ago, the oil filter is in a very nice spot that's easy to get to. I always install hand tight with a generous amount of oil applied to the O-ring. He bought a fram filter with the extra grip on the end. Neither of us could summon enough strength to get that ******* off. I felt bad since I had installed the filter. We ended up getting a strap wrench. Shortly after that I did my own oil change and was concerned that I may have eaten my wheaties that day and over tightened my filter as well but it unscrewed super easy. I don't understand how I can use the same technique on two filters and have 1 be essentially welded on and the other filter be just right.I finally changed my oil this year with Mobil1 and OEM Toyota filter after I normally always pay somewhere like Meineke for them (cheap oil, cheap filter, but do it every 3k).
The goddamn filter was stuck on there so tight from whoever did the previous change that I had to run back and forth to the parts store like 3 times trying to find an oil wrench that would fit.
Never ended up finding a good fit, so I eventually yanked on it so hard I thought my wrist would snap or something, finally got that ***** off.
My point being -- simple things can end up a huge PITA -- don't feel too bad
