So serious question has anyone towed a car on a aluminum car trailer and if so tell me your thoughts.
The Trailers weigh's 1,200lbs and the Camaro weigh's in at 3,200lbs.
So we are pretty close.

...Moving to the rear bumper Ron had to modify it a little for the rear sensors.
Quick question. Was the rear bumper just 1 part that was ordered and painted and a direct swap (other than the sensors)?
I'm serious considering selling my Shrockworks and finally doing this (I should have done it from jump)

The guys pre-painted the bumper before I dropped the truck off and they mocked up all of the parts on the stand to see if I still wanted to do the swap.
Lets not tell my wife what this little part cost.
Moving to the rear bumper Ron had to modify it a little for the rear sensors.
He did a nice job tucking in everything nice and tight.
Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics but I wanted to have a few on my phone.
When we mounted up the front cover we noticed that the light was touching the grille so off with the front cover so we can move it back just a little.
Ron re-drilled the brackets and moved them back about a 1/4"
Not done yet still missing a few pieces.
There are 2 pieces behind each rear wheel that I missed. Just a few more dollars at the dealer and cross our fingers hoping the parts will be in tomorrow.
Note these work on the limited rear cover but not on the trail rear cover. The part I need also doubles as the mud flap.
Nice looking truck. I'm actually in the same process of my 2011 T4R Limited. Just installed the rear bumper last week and noticed I had to order 2 brackets (located near each sides of the tow hitch) brackets: 52174-35090 (driver) 52173-35090 (passenger). They're about $15 each. Didn't see it on your post so thought I'd share.
Please continue to post your progress. I'm still collecting all the parts for the front end before tackling the job.

So I wrote this a long time ago and I finally did the 275’s swap.
And since it was muddy out I washed my bike for the first time. Tires are actually wet not treated with anything.
And I did the spare.
I also had my neighbor to ceramic coat the rim and treat the tire.
I am now considering doing all the other wheels

Still playing with truck and love it just as much as the day we bought it.
Joe over at Chi-Town 4x4 sold me a set of LED lights for the tailgate and I finally decided it install them tonight.
You can see the difference in the bulbs.

My light bar came back from Rigid and the good news is they covered it under warranty.
So this was the final piece we needed to make the limited to TRD Trail front end conversion.

How difficult and expensive did the Trail front-end swap wind up being? I haven't seen a clear answer on this and have been looking for a while now.

You're the kind of a person I want to buy a used car from.
Thank you for making me laugh I needed it today as it has been a long day.
If you scroll back there a pdf with all of the parts you actually need which total up to less then $900.00 which isn't bad. You still need to get the front cover painted and if you can do the labor part yourself you should be able to finish it for around $1200.00 (est. $300.00 for paint & materials)
ps if you can't find it pm me your email and I will email the excel spreadsheet.
Nice truck......I trailer a car....usually with an aluminum trailer. My car weighs in at around 1500 pounds. Tows easily for hundreds of miles. A set of airbags are on my wishlist as they will really help with the sag. 3000 pounds willl have your ass dragging.

I towed a friends Ski Boat and I didn't even realize it was there. I was planning on adding a top spacer on the front of my truck to get the nose up just a little more. With that being said I like the idea of the air bags. Looks like I will be calling Jo at Chi-Town and ordering up a set and installing them over Christmas break.

So I bought another Farley and I even told the wife in advance
Trek Bikes did a blow out on all of the bike frames so I picked up another Farley frame and built it up with all of the extra parts I have laying around.
This Bike will be fitted with 27.5 “ x 4.5” tires which are huge !!
Should be fun to ride in the snow. Heck I might use this bike to increase my fitness level.

Man....seriously...another bike? LOL I keep saying I need to try one of these, so maybe I can do that some day when it warms up. Although, it's the best time of year to use those now I am sure. I love my mountain bike, but would gladly trade it in for some fat tires if they are more comfortable!!!
