I have heard that Rhino Lining and Linex tend to peal off vs just a scratch. Also I went with RCI aluminum for that exact reason, no need to worry about paint/coating!

I performed the 90K service on my 4Runner and changed the oil in the differentials for the first time. Was proud of myself for not making a mess by spilling/splashing the oil everywhere and then unknowingly backed over one of the catch pans when backing out of the garage for short spin to check for leaks. Came back to a three foot puddle of oil in the garage and several smaller puddles tracked down my driveway. :mad2: I was really surprised how clean my differential oil was after 90K miles (the rear too).

Did some snow wheeling yesterday with the wife, baby and our good friends and their two kids in their ZR2. Good times had by all. The 1st time I have had to use my traction pads and must say they work extremely well.

Changed mine at 50K, the rear was dark, others OK. I had been through 2 or 3 brief water crossings before installing the scuba mod. Makes me a believer for the rear diff vent relocation.

Took my Bismarck off road. Literally.
First snow this winter. Little late, but better late than never. So I woke up in the morning to see this:
It took me 20 minutes of scraping the snow to make my Bismarck legal on the public roads. Then I drove it to check my 4 acres property. There I can say, I drove my 4Runner off road (on my field) on the snow. So literally I was OFF ROAD :thumb3:
For all I need I don't have to modify 4Runner. Stock as it is it goes anywhere I need and I dare. Really after flipping to 4x4 Bismarck does not care - it drives like a normal car on a pavement. Maybe a little more bumpy one.
Can you see a road here? I do. It's "off-road" road :cheers:
