Parking Light/Blinkers

Ok so what I want to do is turn my blinkers into another parking light, that is easy enough. I have white LEDs in my current corner parking lights that I want to use at the same time as well. The thing that is giving me a headache is that I want to add a second amber colored LED in the corner light to act as a blinker that when I turn on the blinker, it turns off the white LED in the corner light and turns on the amber LED for the blinker. anyone have any idea on how to wire this? what kind of relays to use to set it up?

Thank you.

It could easily be done with a generic 30 amp automotive relay, but before I draw out a diagram, for each side you want:

Light 1 parking light (dims with blinker or blinks with blinker?)

Light 2 blinker only

the white parking light to turn off and then the orange led for the blinker to be the only thing blinking. id have to have two power wires to the relay. one power for the parking light and one for the blinker. so when i turn the blinker on for the left or right, it switches power from the parking light on that side to the blinker light. but id also need the blinkers to be working when i dont have the parking lights on.

the easiest method would be to have the parking light flash with the blinker. Then you could just use the blinking light to trigger a relay that would cut power to the parking light itself. To completely dim the parking light You will need to tap the wires coming from the turn signal switch itself. That is the only location those will have a constant power to be able to turn off the signal to the parking light on that given side.

you can get the "switchback" leds made for blinkers with the corresponding holder and drill the back of the corner light to accept the larger bulb/holder. i have personally used the ones made by autolumination but there are several different companies that make them. they are pretty much "plug n play" and will save you a headache trying to figure out the wiring. if you get these, all you would have to do is splice the parking light and blinker wires and run them to the same bulb. i take it you want it to work like this?:

Those bulbs weren't exactly what I was looking for but I think those might be a better idea just because it would alot simpler. Thank you guys for that idea.

Ok I changed what I want to do. Im going to use the original blinker location and put in the switchback bulbs from vleds that are white and then turn off and blink orange when you turn on the blinker. The only thing is I don't know how to wire them. I saw write ups on tacomas but their blinker connectors have 3 wire spots with one not being used so they just hook up a wire to that open slot. The 4runners only have 2 wire spots.

Anyone have an idea on how to wire them up?

Thank you for the response but thats not what im looking for. I'm going to use switchbacks that glow white when the lights are in but then once you turn on the blinker it shuts off the white and blinks orange. And I was hoping for a way to wire it with the stock connectors if that's possible and not have to buy new connectors unless that's the only way is to buy the connectors from a Tacoma.
