Thank you. A lot of time and a lot of money. I have a problem with spending. Haha. I just keep saying its only a few dollars more and then it keeps adding up with new things to do.

I'm really impressed with the choice of exterior paint you went with. That's really nice.

More on the push button start.

It came with these RFID tag fobs to work as a key chain.

I found those to be too big, so I ordered a more streamline RFID tag.
Its a thin little round sticker.

Removed the screw on the back of the viper alarm remote and took off the back and then put the sticker inside the back of the remote.

Programmed the RFID tag with the system and now all I need to carry is my viper remote and have no keys or extra key chains hanging around.

I picked up some pretty beat up power seats but the motors still work. They are missing the little plastic control knobs for the passengers and drivers side and also the driver is missing the lumbar switch. If anyone has any of those laying around that they can part with then please let me know.

Nice buy! Good luck finding the dynamic tensioner bracket anywhere besides Toyota. I'm "supposedly" getting one from a ttora member shelshelly90, but he's been pretty unreliable and says he will have more at the end of the month. Might give him a PM to see if he can get one made for you.

I didnt get the great deal like you did but I think it was still a good deal. But yeah I already bought the kit from Toyota for that so I don't have to source any of those parts since I didn't have any of those. Even though $260 is a rip for a couple screws, a couple pieces of metal, and the tensioner when the tensioner by itself is only $50. Thanks for the info though. I just don't want to pay for the other install kit since I have the majority of that stuff already. I saw through a google search that you came up on that bracket on tacomaworld. You got real lucky with that.

Installed 2 DEI 530T window modules. I didn't wire them to my alarm yet but the purpose of them is so that you can vent your windows or roll them down/up with your remote. They also give you one touch up and down operation from the switches which was the main reason I wanted them. I had been looking at these for a couple years and they were going for around $50 each but since DEI decided to discontinue the 530T since I last looked for them I had to bid for a pair on eBay and ended up paying around $80 each for some used ones. DEI has come out with newer window modules but they don't have the one touch operation. One module works for two doors. The install is pretty simple but took a long time due to running the wires to each door. You have to get the wires between the switch and the motors. 4 wires are ran to each door. You then cut the down power wire and the up power wire. Then one wire from the module to motor side up and and then one to switch side up. Then one wire to motor side down and one wire to switch side down. You are putting the module in line of the wire between the switch and motor so that the module is controlling the windows. The only somewhat issue is that the driver window already has auto down so to wire that you are supposed to get as close to the motor as possible if there is a relay or something but I believe it is incorporated into the window motor so there isn't a way to wire the module to auto down. It's fine for one touch operation of all the windows but the only issue with that is if I were to wire it to my alarm, the module wouldn't control the driver window down but would still work to put it up.

Modules with wiring harnesses

Amount of extra wire I needed to run to get into each door

Where I mounted the modules, behind the frame above the front driver and passenger seat belt

Since each module controls two windows I decided to put the module in the B-pillar and have one module control the drivers side and one control the passengers side, I've seen most people install it as one for the front windows and one for the rear but I felt like that was more work to cross the wires to the other side of the truck. This way I just ran shorter wires through the rear door and then long ones along the path of the factory wire harness into the front door.

Hey man cool build thread! I enjoyed going through it, definitely different from the threads I see everywhere where it's just big lifts and tires and putting armor all over the rig. I like all the hard work and documentation you've done. Your interior looks awesome all black!

About your push start, do you have to hold down the button until the engine fully starts like when you use the key? Or do you just push it in and release it? I wonder how the module would know when the engine is fully started and when to disengage the starter if you do just push and release it. That thing's pretty cool, definitely gives the 4runner an updated look! Good Job on everything
