Where do I install a fuel pump Kill Switch?
I'm really becoming attached to my Runner and want to install a fuel pump kill switch to prevent a quick getaway should some a-hole ever try taking it. I can figure out how to splice a wire and run a hidden switch in-line, but exactly what wire would I cut and where is the wire located?
If there is an easier option that is just as effective I'm open to suggestions (starter kill switch?) however I don't want to do the battery disconnect that resets the SGII and stereo each time. The fuel pump makes most sense I just don't know where to cut.

OK, I get it that you want to keep the location of the kill switch to yourself, but regarding the rest of this project, why all the secrecy?
Can't you just post the info here for all to see, and benefit from?

If you cut out the fuel pump and somebody tries to snag the truck you'll come back to a dead battery, it happened to a friend of mine twice. Better to tie your switch into the crank wire going to the starter.

The easiest way to cut power to the fuel pump is at the fuel tank. Splice a switch into the negative wire before the pump and put the switch anywhere you want. My suggestion is to use a switch designated as a fog light switch on the dash. Hide it in plain sight. But somewhere that you wont accidentally cut power while driving. Better a dead battery than a missing truck.

Put a kill switch on the battery or the ignition (starter). If you use the starter for a kill switch. Everything will work but the starter. A kill switch on the battery will cut power to everything and you won't come out to a drained battery. Kill switch anywhere else will drain the battery if the ignition is left on. If a thief wants your 4runner; a kill switch isn't going to stop them.

I'd suggest people post "how to do it" but not where they hid their own switch.
There are lots of threads already on "how to" do this so I don't think it is a secret.

Actually it will. Its quite binary. You either find the fuel cutoff switch and complete the circuit or you can't send fuel to the engine.
Also, anyone steeling a $5,000 4Runner isn't going to try very hard.
It isn't exactly going to have a high value on the stolen car market.
