I purchased a 2000 4runner limited with 226k. Higher miles but still super clean.

Already picked up a few mods it 285 75 17 bfg tires and beadlock wheels

Toytech coils and diff drop, bilstein 5100 rear shocks and land cruiser springs.

That's one clean truck you got. Nice WRX too, we just got a '13 WRX in at work and that thing is fast as hell. Looking forward to seeing the build.

I miss Maine. I grew up in Old Orchard Beach. A lot of my friends had WRX's back then. I had a massive Grand Marquis which made for fun winters

Yeah, I'm a little more north of old orchard beach. I'm stationed in southwest harbor.

I've only seen pictures of the 4runner. Can't wait to get it in hand!

Welcome! I frequent the Portland/OOB area. My brother does stock car racing in Scarborough, ME. Never been any farther than Portland. Family lives in the White Mountains of NH.

Clean truck, welcome aboard!

Thanks! Your missing out! Acadia national park is beautiful! I've been up here about six months.

I might be new to this forum but I believe after owning 14 subarus in the past 7 years I believe I'm an expert on them. They just aren't as off road capable!

My first car was an 87 land cruiser which rusted out and my father has had a 4runner since 2002 including a 2007 sport and 2015 limited. I suppose it's about time I follow suit.

2 clean rides man! You should turbo the 4Runner! .......or not. That thing looks like it's been garaged since birth. What are your plans?

That Scoob is sick! I've been playing with my DD Forester XT for a while. Basic mods: COBB intake/tuner, complete catless exhaust, PnP turbo, and some other bits and pieces. It's not "fast" by any means but it's nimble, roomy and and can run away from most things on the road.

Possible next upgrade

Good to see another Subaru fan jumping in the 4Runnr family.

Nice fxt! I've had two of them in the past year. Both red and 5spd. A lot of fun from a wagon.

As for the 4runner, it will be a dd and weekend warrior something to take the wife and kids out away from electronics. 3"lift and 1" body for more room to stuff the 285's. Arb style front bumper, sliders and rear bumper. I'd like arb lockers front and rear as it has no lockers right now. Might retrofit the headlights as I've got experience doing them but that will be down the road. I don't see the truck with any need for a snorkel as I don't plan on muddying the truck. My young and dumb days did and had a lot if fun but it sure wears everything out fast and is a pain to work on. I do plan on some snow wheeling so the beadlocks will be nice to air way down.

Picked up 2 gallons of fluid film to keep it from rusting this winter. 4runner should be delivered October 8th!

Why against Fluid Film? (just curious) I'm finding the stuff to be magic. I vote for both. Of course, I'm in Vermont, land of brine saturated roads.
