My '00 Millennium Silver SR5 Highlander

Hey, just wanted to introduce myself and my T4R. Picked it up this past Saturday, all stock with 161k on it. I sold my Infiniti G20 a month ago, and was originally looking to get an S2000 to replace it. After finding out what kind of interest rate the dealer wanted, I decided to find something I could just pay cash for. My Dad has a 2nd Gen that I've always loved, so I decided to start looking for a 3rd gen and found this one.

Here are a few pics as it sits:

Immediate plans include a new headunit (Eclipse 5030), getting rid of those gold badges (blechhh!) and some 265/75/16 Nitto Terra Grapplers. I also plan on doing a full fluid change since I don't have any service history on the truck. Front brakes need to be replaced as well- rotors are warped to hell and back. Everything looks pretty clean, but I feel better knowing its all fresh

Thanks for the compliments I'd actually prefer to have the Sequoia 17" wheels, but unless I find a set in the next month, I'll be sticking with these. The property I hunt on has some pretty nasty hills, and I doubt these highway tires will do very well on them.

Nice 4runner.

It might not be that hard to find the 17" Sequoia/Tundra rims. I bought a set from someone in Columbia about 2-3 months ago.

Where'd you find them listed?

Craigslist. There was one set in Greenville and one in Columbia. The one in Columbia was cheaper so I went down there and got them. Only paid $200.

Nice find - she's a beauty! Normally I'm not a big fan of gold badging but for some reason it doesn't look all that bad - I dare say it might actually look pretty good. I must be getting old

Looks like you got yourself a really nice one!

It seems very clean for a truck with that amount of miles on it. I've always liked the way millenium silver looked with that scooped hood!

hmm soo they still used that awesome color interior ..... im thinking some satin black 17" Sequoia/Tundra wheels and led tails paint the emblems black and ditch a few on the rear would make it looks real sharp

And as for the hood, I think I'll be keeping it on nice try though
