Where did you have to trim? I am planning on 35's soon and i need to be able to clear them at full stuff. ErikB's bumper is my favorite too. Check out 00Spork'd if you havent seen it already. Basically ErikB's with a stinger
Oh and nice to see another 1st gen S/C

On the front I removed the inner fender plastic piece and then pounded the inner fender well back in with a 10 lbs sledge. Then I took a pair of vice grip channel lock pliers and beginning at the bottom of the fender and rolled the fender edge in to clearance it. I used Jesse at Trails less Traveled method of checking for rubbing. with the strut out cycle the wheel and tire up and down and left to right. Just keep hammering until nothing touches. It's not as pretty as cutting and tubing but I'm not worried about pretty I'm worried about functional. Honestly if somebody wanted to make a bundle they would design a set of arms that moved the spindle forward about 1 inch. I know it doesn't sound like a lot but it would make a huge difference. Also my opinion is that running wheel spacers makes clearanceing the front much harder since it moves the steering arc out and back into the fender well. Also remember that the tires I'm running are not truly a 35, closer to a 34. If I had got the original tires I really wanted (pittbull Rocker Radials) It would be a totally different story.
Chris - I haven't got the plugs yet but they are on the list.

Scotty,
I love the new website looks great I didn't see your 3rd gen rear bumper listed. Is it going to be a standard or is it a custom build. Your build is total inspiration for "Smokey". Some day it will get a SAS and dual Transfers but for now bumpers and sliders will have to do. I am really glad that I had not got the sliders installed on the 99 so now they can go here. lol for once procrastination worked in my favor.

Well here is an update. On Tuesday I was driving and suddenly had a plug (Back one on passenger side) blew out. It was apparently a previous issue and had been heli-coiled. Ruined the coil pack and sounded horrible. So my wife and I have decided that we are going to pull the motor (already done) and do a full rebuild. With 186,000 supercharged miles on it we decided that it is the way to go. So here is my plan which I would love some feed back on. I am going to do a quality but basic rebuild using LC engineering's rebuild kit with 40 over hypernumataic pistons and MLM head gasket. The only major upgrade I'm looking at is a ARP head stud kit. Then the supercharger also needs to be gone through and so I am going to send it to either PSE or High speed labs for a full go through. Anybody have an opinion about either company. Im leaning toward HSL since they do a recoating of the impellers. Also going to do a LCE Pro Street clutch while it's out. I know Im looking at about $4000 to do all of this but I only have $2200 in the Runner so far. So $6200 for a brand new motor and Superchrger in a perfect bodied Runner is tough to beat. What do you think of my plan?

here is a quick update I talked to my machinist yesterday and learned that cast pistons are actually stronger than Hyper's for a forced induction setup. Not as strong as forged of course but apparently the hyper's are better for dealing with heat but are also more brittle and will have a higher tendency to break under detonation. Just a little tech for those who might be interested.

The Engine is at the machine shop and I should have a word of how bad damage is. I have a shot at some forged pistons for 600 but I think it would be better spent on a 7th injector setup from URD since I got 185k of supercharged out of cast pistons and rods and crank. What do you guys think?

Today my URD 2.2 supergrip pulley showed up and it goes in the box with the supercharger to High Speed Labs. Your rig is looking sweet, did you get your diff drop yet?

No Turning Back now the supercharger is in a box on its way to MO. I should hear from them by the end of next week what it is going to need but have decided to have them go through it front to back. Just to warn anybody out there the shipping USPS is not cheap at about $100 each way it brings the price of the Re-manufacture up almost 50%. But I'm convinced that it is gonna be way worth it to have a fresh Supercharger on top of a totally fresh motor.
Rob, just saw your text, no problem call me on Friday and we can get you hooked up.

just a quick update. The engine is back from the machine shop and the supercharger is back too. Things are almost bolted back together and the URD 7th injector setup is wired in, with weatherpack connectors in case I ever need to remove the wiring harness again. sonically cleaned and balanced injectors, new belts and hoses, new 2800lbs pressure plate with ceramic friction disk. It feels like the truck is gonna be new from the firewall froward. My mechanic is doing an amazing Job and is totally meticulous. I think it will be back in the truck in the next day or so. I can not wait till it is running again I love driving my F350 crew cab but the mileage is killing me 8-9mpg. I will never complain about my runner again. I will have pics tomorrow.

Well here are the Pics. i have to say that I personally have never driven a 3rd gen that runs this smooth and absolutely powerful. I'm sure they are out there I just haven't had the privilege. Starts on a click and runs good with no ping all the way through the powerband. I am taking it easy on the motor for the first 500 miles till I have the first oil change and the new clutch is fully broken in. Not that pictures do much but I did get a little carried away with the rattle can. My best friend says its "So Ricer", but I like it.
