I have to say Brian that your 4runner looks better at 200,000+ than it did I'll bet when it came out of the factory.
Once you get everything on, the only missing cog so to say is a 2nd gen S/C.
I did not know you were a Banana Slug BTW. The location right over Monterey Bay is priceless.

Looks awesome!
With the new rear bumper it looks like it brought up the rear end a little. I like the rake!

Nice build. Very detail oriented.
Did you use SEM on the frame as well?

Thanks.
I used rustolium primer and satin black on the frame.
Then for the area of the body by the rear bumper, which I had to repaint because I previously marked it up, I used SEM primer and then their XRP (mid grade) Satin black.
Do not ever use the bottom line ($3/can) of SEM, it will fade in a few months.

I will post pics of it on the car soon. It looks just like the BB now that I had it powder coated red as well. It is easily 4x lighter in weight but I was told that it will hold up very for the kind of light wheeling I normally do.

Man the skid plate and frame came out great! I know that sanding that stuff couldn't be easy, but the prep work definitely shows in the final product. I'm sure it looks better than it did when it was brand new!

4Runner is so clean! I really like the savage bumper. The undercarriage paint makes it look brand new. Probably even better than new...

Hey man! The truck is looking great! Nice work on the undercarriage restoration.... but aren't you apprehensive about getting it dirty now?? ;)

Just posted this in the what did you do today thread ... but I thought I should share here as well.
Sunday Fun!
Washed & Waxed then ....
Installed new rear Toyota LC shocks, front sway bar (bought from COB then refurbished by me), new bushings and custom front end links from Stick Figure.
I have been without a sway bar for a year; wow what a difference it makes to have it back on.
Pics ....

BTW, thanks for all the nice comments guys!
I am putting my baby into storage next week since I don't want to leave it on the street for two months while I am on the East Coast.

Hats off to ya Brian for keeping the original OTR and ITRs, as well as OEM CVs in good working order. It does look as if the LBJ may need some attention.
Enjoy the East Coast.
