Picked up my truck today!

Got my new truck today from Longo Toyota. Painless when done through internet sales. I would like to thank Eddie and Wallace at the department there. Got a GREAT deal...

It's an V8 Limited 4x4. Been out with it all day letting family try it out.

Most definitely....once I break it in.

Had 11miles when I picked it up this afternoon. Now I have 160miles...at this rate, it'll be broken in by next week.

Congrats on the new 4Runner, it looks beautiful!

I got mine at Longo through Internet too! It only took an hour for the whole process.

Welcome to the board and good luck with the new truck! It looks sharp!! That is some nice scenery in that picture. What city does is pictured in the backgroun (not familiar with California)? Also, is the hill as steep as it looks?

It's an V8 Limited 4x4. Been out with it all day letting family try it out.

What options did you get and how much did you pay?

I just placed an order for a 4x4 LTD, V8, Loaded with the works... NAV, Sunroof, etc... AND X-REAS here in Southern California.

I was totally unable to find a 4x4 LTD, V8 ANYWHERE that had X-REAS!

Now I have to wait several months for it to show up!!

Can ANYONE help me locate a fully loaded Black w/ Tan interior, Fully loaded (except for the Rear Air Suspension) 2005 LTD, 4x4, V8 4Runner in SoCal?

I have until Monday (May 2nd) to change my order... that is when they will submit it to Toyota.

You sound like you are in the same boat as me. I ordered a Black Exterior/Tan Interior Limited V8 4x4 a few weeks ago in Houston. The options I got were:
Side & Curtain Airbags
XREAS
Navigation
Rear Spoiler
Daytime Running Lights
Sunroof
Door Edge Guards
Floor Mats
I didn't want the side airbags, rear spoiler, or daytime running lights but the dealer explained the regional guys only order certain configurations and to get the other options I wanted I would have to accept those as well.
Not too many 4x4s on the dealer lots down in Houston (and even fewer nav systems) so I was forced to order one. Most dealers I tried to work with didn't want the hassle of ordering it for me, either. The one place that did was in a suburb (not a really high volume seller) but their price was pretty high. It sucks to spend several months doing internet research to learn true invoice costs, reasonable dealer profit, and how to negotiate and then not be able to use it. But I wanted very specific options and would not settle for anything less. My price will be $39,995 minus whatever rebate is in effect upon delivery (I wish it were this month, I would get a $1250 rebate!).

Yup...

Pretty much in the same boat as you...

I ordered a 4x4, V8, LTD with Black Exterior and Tan Leather plus the following:

NAV
Side Curtain Airbags
Rear Spoiler
Daytime Running Lights
Power Sunroof
X-REAS shocks
6 Disk CD Changer
Alloy Wheel Locks
Glass Breakage Sensor
Cargo net
First Aid KitCarpet Floor Mats
Sport Pedals by OBX Racing

And a partridge in a pear tree

My price will be almost $41,000 minus any rebates. I think I can do better and I'm seriously thinking about cancelling this or fighting for a better deal.

Can you send me a private message with the name of your salesperson? That way I'll have some ammunition to fight my salesperson with!
