Before I start I want to say thanks to all of you guys on the group. I never would’ve known what to do without most of you, but I really want to thank ARK_SWAMP_RIDER for all of the help he has given me. He taught me pretty much everything about the suspension of this car and I really need to thank him!
Well this is going to be pretty text heavy (plus pic) so if you’re looking for a story take a seat and read away. Here's a list of everything I've done to it up to this point:

So here’s the beginning I own a 2006 4Runner V8 4X4 and here it was the day I got it
.
Here's it in May after I took the running boards off too
Here's a pic of it stock next to my girlfriends Mom's F350
Gas mileage isn’t all that great, but I’m slowly beginning to not care and just enjoy my truck. I purchased OME 885 fronts, Toytec Superflex rears, Bilstein 5100s, and a top out spacer from Toytec using the discount code 112710. Total came out to be $830.21 shipped (Not including shirt and sticker pack ). I was planning on getting 285/65/18 Nitto Trail Grapplers, but I decided to stick with 275/65/18 Cooper Discoverer STTs instead. I figured they’d be better on gas so I thought why not. After looking around I decided to sell the OME/Toytec lift and get something cheaper. I sold those, and bought a used set of FJ coils from a guy local on craigslist. I also went and purchased a daystar 1.5” spacer as well. I probably should have stuck with the OME/Toytec coils BUT I’m doing this mostly for looks so I figured I should just stick with the cheaper lift for now. So now I have Bilstein 5100s, FJ coils, and the Daystar 1.5” spacer. My plan was to set the Bilsteins at 2.5” and have the front FJ coil give about .5” and a better ride. The back was coil was going to have the Daystar 1.5” spacer and the FJ coils so I can have 2” in the rear. So that’s a 3/2 which is what I was planning all along. I took my car in to have the lift done and heres how it looked when it was getting worked on
but about an hour later I get a call. My friend who works there says that the front strut mount had worn about an inch away. The stock strut also had some metal missing as you can see here
I don’t know how this happened, but it did. I had to replace the thing or else the new Bilstein strut would have eventually worn away as well. So it’s 12PM and I feel like I’m screwed. I call everywhere to see if I can get this part in as soon as possible. I called the stealership and they say they want $100 for the part, AND it may not be here until Friday even though I told them I needed it tomorrow. Apparently I got the last upper strut mount in the southeast considering there was only one and it was in Jacksonville, FL (I live in Alpharetta GA). I called this morning and they say they got it. So I rush over and pick it up and drop the part off to the guys doing my lift. This thing was $100 but I really needed it, and this is it
I saw the rear, because they already finished it and it looks like it should be higher, but I still have the stock tires on it so that might be why. Now it's finally done, and I can't be happier! It looks awesome and I love the ride so much more now. Here's how it stands with stock tires until my Coopers get here
Now I just need to figure out how to make a signature like the rest of you guys!! Thanks again everyone!
