Rear Wiper Activates (just once) when I start car in morning

Do a search on "strange rear wiper issue." I don't know how to link threads. This started happening to me about 3 or 4 months ago and seems to be associated with the battery starting to die. My battery was sounding a little weak in the cold weather so I had it replaced and my wiper has not done it since.
