Cali4Runnea's Build
Currently as she sits -
Future mods to come:
- Steelcraft 3" black tube steps
- WMW Roof Rack (Hopefully next in line!)
-Years down the road... Sport hood and new paint job!
================================================== ==================================================
This is the beginning of my build, and I am very excited to finally be starting mod's on my truck. When I'm not changing diapers or chasing after a toddler, this is what I daydream about! lol. Love seeing everyone elses build threads, I've got so many great ideas from you guys, just need lots of time and a patient husband to get them done.
Here is my Runner stock
Added the Curt tow hitch not long after I bought it to tow my hub's Jetta across country
And of course the T4R sticker
We just installed a black Steelcraft bull bar on her this evening, but wasn't able to get a good picture, will take one tomorrow to post!
And waiting for my weathertech wind/bug deflectors to come in this week!

My local exhaust shop said they would cut and weld a side exit exhaust for 40$, 80 with a exhaust tip.

Wow, that's a great deal! I hope I can get as good of one here, but it is California, where everything is priced higher than it should be. =p

my runner is idential to yours, same color, rims, no spoiler, no factory hitch. Looking at yours and what you'll do to her will be like what I imagined mine will be like. I will follow the progress. Mine is also sr5 2wd. Like looking in a mirror.

Can't wait to see your build as well. Funny you mention about dreaming about your truck between changing diapers and chasing a toddler......lol. I work out of the house and keep our twins when they aren't in school. This is why i was away from the forum for a few years. They just turned 5 last week, so i am able to play around with my truck more......It gets easier...

That's pretty awesome! I love to hear I'm not the only with my style runner, I always feel it's so plain and boring compared the the limited's and similar. But I just try and think more positivily, it leaves more to do with it, right?! =)
If you make any mods to yours, I'd love to see, I'm inspired by so many runners on this forum, I love it!

Well, your truck is a big inspiration momo, I love how your's is set up, it's so clean but still unqiue amoung others like it. I hope my runner will have the same qualities one day! Sounds like you keep your hands full with twins, wow! But I bet they are a blast now at 5, and them probably going to school now def. helps free up some day time, lol. My daughter is two now and I am feeling a lot more freedom, she is very independent and likes it that way! I do too, some of the time. Thanks for inspiriations, and of course the awesome stickers! Finally put my second one on today on the back side window like most do, it's very hidden, but looks sleek. =)

Bull bar pics
Okay, got some better pics of the new bar. Really love it! Hubs didn't really care for the idea of it when I ordered it, but now he really likes it seeing it on, wifey has a bit of an idea of what she's doing. ;-)
Out of the package...
I helped a "little"
It's on! Sorry for the bad lighting, hard to see it
Love the new look

Mind giving me the links to the hitch and bullbar (also pricing for the items)? Definitely consider some add ons, and are they directly bolt-on? No drillings/cutting into anything? Oh, I added a factory muffler tip on mine today...haha..talking about starting small, I started really small.
