Then we were involved in a hit Ė and Ė run collision a few months after we bought it.

The wreck caused this to happen! (CBI Bumper) We took the insurance money and we only had to pay around $400 out of pocket.

Next came some Demello Offroad Sliders. We got some of the first ones and were the second or third to find out that they did not fit correctly on 2003 and 2004 models. We got a set of corrected ones a few months later, but do not have any pictures of them.

The head gasket blew. It wound up costing us around $3700 and two weeks with no truck.

MY GARAGE
In November, the first snow of the year, my dad was off- roading for work on a freshly bulldozed road. He said there was a random ditch that he didnít see and he hit his head on the roof when the front lower part of the bumper hit the other side. Then, a week after, he love taps somebody in traffic. Didnít really cause any more damage, so it was fine with him. The only damaged part was the lower silver plastic piece. We thought it was going to be an easy swap, but we wound up having to remove the whole bumper!

Here is the damage
The Fammily 4Runner-19-jpg
The Fammily 4Runner-20-jpg

Here is the removed bumper
The Fammily 4Runner-21-jpg

The frame was bent in pretty bad- good thing the airbags didnít go off. We scratched off the loose paint and sprayed it black
The Fammily 4Runner-22-jpg
The Fammily 4Runner-23-jpg

Finished!
The Fammily 4Runner-24-jpg

We are not really building it any more, just keeping it like it is because we really donít need anything else.

Rig looks good!

Can you do me a favor and post up some more pics of the CBI rear? I'm thinking of buying one just like this without a TC

I see you're from Wilson county, I am too, and I've seen a grey 4runner with a steel bumper out by my house a few times... Do you happen to live out by Lakeview elementary?

Haha no I wish, I have a blue 4th gen. Stock for now but that'll change soon. How do you like the OME lift? I'm actually thinking about that route myself.
