115v AC OEM inverter wiring diagram/pin out?

I was wondering if anyone had a wiring diagram or pin out of the OEM 115v inverter. I am looking to buy an inverter and it seems like the same inverter used in 4runners are the same inverters that are also used in the Matrix. You can find used inverter for the Matrix on ebay for pretty cheap. From what I have read apparently a lot of 4runners are prewired with the wiring harasses needed for the inverter. I know I could add an aftermarket inverter for cheaper but would like to keep the OEM look. I have posted the ebay links below. The look the same to me minus the mounting brackets. Any info on this would be appreciated.

I have posted a pic of the wiring diagram for the 115v OEM inverter. I pulled the trigger and bought the Matrix inverted I linked above ($30 pretty good considering the 4runner inverter is $1000+new). I will take apart the drivers side rear 1/4 panel this week to see if the wiring harness is there (fingers crossed). Assuming the harness is there all I should need is the console insert with the plug cutouts and the switch. Both are around $30 I think. I'll update the thread as I make progress.

Help please

I know this is a long shot but I am wondering if anyone could please take a picture of the back side of the 115v socket in the center console. I just got a 115v socket from a 2003 Toyota matrix and the wiring harness/connector (male) with Light Green & Red wires that's in the center console (see pic) does not fit into the back side of the 115v matrix socket (female). I have posted pics of both the wiring harness and back of the Matrix socket I have. I would assume that Toyota would make the connector for the 115v socket the same across all models built with in the same time frame. I am confident that the wiring harness (light green and red) in the center console is for the 115v inverter based on wiring diagram above. Based on the wiring diagram above it looks like I need P5 connector in order to plug into the back side of the 115v socket. Am I missing a wring harness that goes from the back of the 115v socket to the light green & red harness in the center console or does Toyota use different 115v sockets for different models?

For anyone interested...

I will put this information here for anyone else that would like to add the 115v AC power inverter. I understand you could add a higher rated after market inverter for cheaper but I wanted to keep the OEM look and don't think I will be using the inverter for anything more than power small electronics.

I have a 2004 SE that did not come with the 115v package. After doing some research on here and other sites I was able to find a used inverter from a 2003 Toyota Matrix on eBay for $30 shipped. The Matrix along with other Toyota vehicles use the same inverter as the 4th gen 4runners. For whatever reason Toyota and eBay charge a lot more money for the “4runner” power inverter.

Anyway I have listed the part numbers below to do this “mod”. I was able to find all parts (some new some used) for about $110. I made my own bracket with parts I had laying around. Also, I just used the console box I had and used a dremel to make the cut out for the receptacle. My runner was prewired for the inverter, the only wire I needed was the console wire that connected from the harness in the center console to the receptacle in the center console box. If anyone has any questions I’ll try to help. The inverter is located in the driver side of rear cargo panel.

Parts Needed (Dealership Prices)
115v AC Inverter (86210-35020) $1090
115v Switch (84480-35070) $55
Relay (90080-87026) $11
115v AC Socket (85530-35030) $30
Console Wire (82166-35010) $2

Optional Parts

Console Box (58912-35030) $53
Inverter Mounting Brackets (??????)

I started collecting the parts to add this to my vehicle, but I just discovered that not all 4Runners are pre-wired for the 115v AC system. This option requires a specific floor wiring harness.... and my vehicle didn't come with it

NOTE: If anyone else is thinking about adding this option, check the inverter location for the harness connector before you start buying the parts!
