Hopefully the attached diagram with part numbers for each specific LED will help someone else.

THis worked great. Thanks!

center console readout bulbs

I just replaced the center console message display center bulbs with those i bought at radio shack (lampt type 7219, part # 272-1092) ... and I noticed that these bulbs are slightly smaller than the OEM bulbs.

They still work, but appear to be dim as compared to the OEM ones. I went back to radio shack, but did not find any other ones that were a larger diameter. Maybe I have to buy the OEM ones ?? Are they brighter than the radio shack ones ?? has anyone esle experienced this ??

I searched the internet quickly for larger diameter bulbs, but not found anything yet.

I had the console light replaced, but the up and down arrow displays are still not lighting up.

I'm going to take it back, but for my curiosity (and the dealer should've picked up on this!!) is there an additional bulb that lights up the up and down arrow display (on top of the UP TEMP and below the DOWN).

The side left and right arrow displays are lighting up however..(next to the AUTO and A/C)

But, yes, are there additional bulbs that control the up and down display which are above and below the UP TEMP and DOWN control?

Just came back and the service guy advised me that the arrows above and below the UP TEMP and DOWN should NOT light up as this is a momentary operation. If that's the case why have the arrows that look like they should illuminate in the first place..or do the arrows actually light up momentarily as you adjust the temperature? (which I can see them burning out before any of those tiny bulbs if this is the case)

I looked in the owner's manual, but it doesn't indicate if the arrows light up, just that they are used to control the temperature.

Curious if any other '05 SR 4R owners see the same with theirs.

When I removed the panel for the climate control. I only found one bulb and that lights the fan settings. Where is the bulb to backlight the climate control on the right? Thank you in advance!

Does anyone know how to remove the bulbs "C" on the instrument panel. I successfully removed the panel and located the bulbs. I have managed to remove other bulbs on the panel, but the "C" bulbs that serve as the backlight for the time clock appear to be soddered to the circuit board.

Could anyone give me help on how to remove the "C" bulbs in the diagram?

for the C bulbs just use a screw driver or do you have the panel upside down & looking at the wrong ones?

Thanks Chaz!

I was able to change the C bulbs. Thanks you very much Chaz. I just wanted to make sure I did not permanently damage the A/C panel, since replacing the entire unit would be very expensive.

It's kind of tricky to tell from the picture, but what is light D lighting up?

Looks like that's about where the "Reset" and "Mode" buttons are.

bulbs

does any one know if I can get different colors of bulbs for the replacement of all the bulbs that are in the center climate controls and such, I want to change to something other than the orange? I know you can get different colors for the dash gauge cluster.
