Installed ARB Bumper last night along with some custom sliders a buddy of mine made for my 4runner. Still have to weld the tubes onto the sliders but went ahead and put them on to get ready for our trip to moab in april.

With the help of some members here and RM-4wd, I got my OME 3" lift installed on Friday. I went to Goodyear the next day and had LT285/70/R17 Goodyear Silent Armors put on. So far, I am very pleased with the lift and tires. The SA's did great in the snow up in Summit County today. Just need to get it off-road now....

I picked this up on the first weekend of March..

It was fun, but I needed to mod it a little to suit my taste. Here it is as she sits today...

Here's mine
Not really a noticeable lift. Just reducing the front rake. IMO, there is no convincing point to lift my 2WD Runner-Pre Runner.
My 4 factory shocks were leaking . Buying branded replacement shocks will cost almost the same as replacing the front with Bilstein 5100 Front height Adjustable Shocks, and I’ll have an instant chance of leveling the stance. The front spring is seated in the 2nd groove(Adjustment setting) in which according to Bilstein will give 0.85” of front lift, but many installations actually gained more than 1” raise. The front of my 4R is now 1.25” higher than the stock height.
I didn’t want to lift the rear so I went with Bilstein 46 series HD shocks as replacements. No height increase.
Impressions:
Less nose dive when braking compared to factory Tokico shocks
Less body rolls during turns, Smooth at 40mph, Floating at bump stops also better control when cornering - no more boogie and tango Ha! ha!

My plans:
Replace all springs with the FJCs.
Still with Street Tires .. LOL!

After :

20x9 Enkei RT-6 with 285/50/20 Goodyear Eagle GTII all the way around.
Cornfed lift ordered and delivered, but not yet installed.
Only has light scrub on hard right, driver front tire hits mud flap.

Very happy with setup thus far.
