yea but that mud wasnt thick and wasnt deep if he had gone straight with a little more lead on his foot it would have been right through.

Traction was a little better with the wheels turned. Also, keeping the wheels turned helped keep me from getting high centred. I am not saying I did it the right way, but at the time that is what felt best.

All 4th and 5th gens have ATRAC. The 2wd models call it auto-LSD. Some '01 & '02 3rd gens have it too.

That was in the Squamish Valley. I'm in Vancouver, where are you?

Where in Squamish were you? I tried to access Indian Arm Trail but it was closed then.

As well, I see that your running an aftermarket exhaust. How do you like it?

Dave

Not sure the name of the trail, it is popular trail off the Sq Valley Road, not too far from where the road turns to gravel.

Stock exhaust. Maybe you are hearing a chirping sound from the belt. It chirps when it gets wet under there.

thats cool dude. how was the road up? i heard security is bad on the sea to sky with the olympics and what not.

if its in the squamish area could have been part of the mamquam forest service roads. if you were heading east off of squamish valley road it woulda been heading into the alice lake area

It hasn't been different from usual securty wise. On Saturday there were cops everywhere nailing people for speeding, but otherwise like usual. The past weekends before that was totally the usual. I'm in the Northwest Territoires now, but when I get back in March, we should go back and explore more. I didn't puch it too hard since I was alone and didn't feel like having to spend hours diging myself out of the mud (which I have done previously). Lots of good driving in the Elaho Valley as well.

harrison FSR, flourence FSR, and vedder mountain are near you and worth exploring. they're all fairly stocker friendly but it doesnt hurt to go with a buddy and a recovery strap

eagle ridge is in poco so its fairly close to you but it could be gated. dunno whats going on there but worth checking out.
