Treadwright tires arrived today
Was expecting them to come in Monday but they came in one business day early. Great job from Treadwright...10 business days between the order and tires received. This includes waiting specifically for Goodyear MTR casings.
First impressions:
1. These tires are huge compared to my stockers. I measured both--stock was 29" and the TWs were 33". Nice lift from the tires alone!
2. The casings, especially the inside, are in really good shape. Being that they're recycled, I was expecting some scuffs or marks. I did a quick inspection and didn't see anything visible.
3. You can tell a difference between the casing rubber and the tread rubber. The texture is a little different and the color is a slightly different shade. Doesn't bother me and I see nothing wrong with it, but it's worth mentioning.
4. Tires are heavy...wow.
Enjoy the pics. Still looking for anyone else who wants to come down to San Diego in need of installation help on 7/24. Brian2Sun and Pure 98 may be coming down...others are welcome.
