ARB Skid Plates

Took this image from the "Expo" forum. ARB marketing says its top secret, another words they haven't come out yet. I wonder if they will. If they do they must be considering a SNORKEL somewhere down the line!

Oh really... thats good to hear. That might make them look into making further products for the 5th Gen 4runner. Fingers crossed there, all I want for Christmas is a snorkel!

Finally found a free weekend to install the ARB Skids.

Really happy with the final product, very well done. Paid $425 for the kit.

Toyota stock skid thickness = 1.3 mm

ARB skid thickness = 3.7 mm (4.1 mm for xfer case skid)

4 skids and 1 bracket

both stock skid plates

Those look nice, but your gas tank will still be exposed.

Replaced the SR5 tank skid w/ TE skid.... Better, but not ideal.

"How heavy is heavy? "
>>> Didn't weigh them, but my guess from carrying the box is ~70-80 lbs

"So these are available now? "
>>> Yes, I just talked to my local ARB dealer, and he used the part number to order from ARB USA. Although I only have the part number for non-KDSS skids.

Trying to order these all day now and when I try to checkout it tells me "Your email address already exists. Use the 'Forgot your Password?' feature to retrieve your password to logon.", but when I hit password reset it sends me the same damn password I am using. Maybe it just isn't meant to be
