Finally got an answer from Raingler and I'm a bit confused. Now they say the net I need is the 2012+ Jeep Grand Cherokee. That's one is expensive too, $200. Not sure I wanna spend that kinda money on a net!

www.raingler.com

I'll do some measuring later. Might try to see if these will fit: PET NET cargo barrier, free shipping here: http://www.hunterk9.com/site/870877/product/330

I use a cheap bungee net, about 3' x 4' or something like that, cost me $10 on Amazon.

It works quite well.

Anyone figure this out? I need to keep my two 55 lb dogs in the back since they like to jump into the back seat.

Assuming you're using this one?

Tooluxe Tools 36 x 43" Nylon Cargo Net with 12 Poly Hooks" - Amazon.com

I might give that a shot and use carabiners with the OEM d ring replacement for the hanger clips.

I also found this one: Powertye Cargo Net, Extra Large, Black : Amazon.com : Automotive I'm not sure how stretchy it is though, if it will be long enough to attach to the sides.

Then this one, which I think is too wide. Won't have enough room to secure it down tight
Amazon.com: The Pet Net Brand Safety Barrier - NEW vehicle barrier for dogs, Adjustable & Affordable! 47" W x 24" T: Pet Supplies

I ordered this in a size Large per their website but it's way too big. Returning it for a refund:
http://www.hunterk9.com/site/870877/product/330

The other option is getting these guys to custom make you a net. They said you need to subtract about 3" from each side to allow room for tightening it down. The top of the cab behind the seats is about 48~49" wide.

Thread revival:

Does anyone know what the plastic upholstery studs in the ceiling go into? Is it possible that they pop into some type of steel tab that is solidly mounted to the roof? That might be a good tie down point.

This is their 4th gen net:

I'm not sure how that would work in my 2014 since there's no hangers right behind the rear seats. They quite a few feet back:

And here's all the potential mounting points I see on a 2014. Pictures anybody?

Replacement d-rings from amazon can go there instead of the clothes hanger.

Is anyone running one in a 5th gen. Want to pick one up... but there is that picture where the sag blocks the rear view mirror. How does everyone like theirs?

The 5th gen just got updated, bigger, wider, trailer and two different locations to mount in now so plenty of adjustment to get it in the best position for visibility.

Which net are you asking about? I just installed the full length ceiling mesh net in a 2018 T4R. It does not block the rear view mirror or rear window. It does somewhat obscure the center dome light.

Raingler cargo nets

Damn that was months ago. I was looking into buying the full behind the second seat divider. I ended up getting it. It sags in the top and they are as tightened as can be. Other than that it’s nice. Dog hates it.

Did you get the MILSPEC one or the standard? I'm debating which material to go with.

I like the cargo net setups, biggest challenge is probably tie down points and potential for stretching out?

Might work to keep some groceries r a small backpack from rolling around while you're driving, but I would never put my life in a cheap nets hands. I use my heavy cargo net as a secondary hold down for two wolfpack boxes full of tools, recovery gear, etc. Also coolers and other gear when camping. I'd like to see how fast a walmart bungie cargo net would snap when the vehicle rolled.

Also would never use one on the roof for cargo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F1cgcm1nuWQ&t=622s
