Now for the fun project - the grill lights. I ordered my lights for this to basically be a mini version of what is on my roof rack. So I got one Rigid 10" SR, and a set of Rigid SR-Q's (these are new but are basically just dually d2's in a different arrangement). I have wanted to make a DIY version of Rigid grill (that doesn't cost $500+) for a while now, and

s's light bracket gave me the chance. So here it goes.
First things first, SoCal's bracket is great, BUT if you want your LED's to protrude through the grill, you have to modify it a bit as it won't allow for the lights to fit far enough forward. So I went out and got a 1/8" stock piece of steel and went to work on it.
I traced the outline of the grill onto the metal so I could make the bracket extend all the way to where the grill sits.
Start cutting!
Now with it cut out, I put clammed it over SoCal's bracket (the painted one) to drill holes and mount them together.
Here it is sitting on the truck, took a little work but it fits great!
Now for the hard part, lining up the lights
Measuring and marking a hole for the 10" SR
Cutting it out with a dremel.
Moving on to the SR-Q's...
Grill is done!
Disclaimer: This took forever. I used a dremel with a cutoff wheel and cut the wholes small, and then slowly sanded them larger until the light fit just right. Getting this right took a lot of time and some of the holes are still a little big.
Drilling holes to mount the lights:
View from the top with the lights secured: I hid the wiring below the bracket but above the winch, there is just enough room.
SR-Q's in!
All done!

All done, here's a bad picture of it parked out in front of my shop in the rain:
Obligatory switch pictures. This is the standard LED BAR switch from OTRATTW but I had them change the text from "LED Bar" to "Amber Grill Lights".

This took forever, but I really like the results! Also I had to repaint the grillcraft grill satin back as the dremel work exposed some bare metal along the edges of the holes for the lights.
