TRDPRORUNNER - Build
I added a few things to the TRD PRO and wanted to post some pics in case anyone was wondering what a TRD PRO would look like other than the stock look. I know there's nothing out-of-the-box here... mainly standards, but they work for my situation. First off... a big thanks to DesertDawg for the Cooper ST/Maxx encouragement and the many others here who have chimed in on racks and various mods. This forum is really, really great.
Here is what I added and why:
1. Cooper ST/Maxx 275/70/17
2. Gobi Stealth rack w/ ladder & sunroof insert (to cover up the lack of...........)
3. RotoPax system (2 locking toolboxes & 4-gallon gas container
4. ConsoleVault (This could be my favorite mod - everyone should have this)
5. NFab Nerf Steps
6. FormulaOne Ceramic tint all around
7. WeatherTech DigitalFit throughout
8. GoPro on the Dash connected to dash USB
9. Kraco Rubber Diamondplate mat (3.5'x6' available at AutoZone)
10. WeatherTech RackSack (fits perfectly on the Gobi when needed)
11. WeatherTech Bumpstep (helps climbing on ladder and getting in/out hatch)
12. 18pc. eBay LED Interior kit
Although I love 285's and 3" lifts, my work requires that I am able to go in/out of business parking garages often and so I was concerned about the height. My garage is 80" too and I just wanted to be careful here. With the TRD, I chose 275's in the Coopers and I think it's the perfect fit for the TRD suspension height! It fills the wheel well nicely but NO rubbing issues! I love them in every way except for the added weight. You can feel it, but not terrible... time will tell. I'm also trying to salvage as many mpg's as possible with these heavy tires and at this height there is a slightly lower CG. I use the rack for work and for family camping and so on. My kids love the ladder and climbing up to the lookout platform! RotoPax is a killer system and I love locking them to the rack for emergency fuel for the Runner or the motorcycles/quads. The ConsoleVault is just so cool and I love the added security. If you haven't seen these... go to console vault.com. The best, period. Nfabs... I'm still undecided here. My wife and kids like them and I do use them for functionality... getting to the rack, tiedowns, etc. Might switch out to RockyRoad sliders. I've used WeatherTech mats and accessories for years. Love their stuff and highly recommend them. Finally, I was looking for something to cover the floor when the seats were down and tried blankets, various rugs and more. Then I was in AutoZone and saw the Kraco rubber mat. The dimensions are absolutely perfect for our 4Runners! Just enough to fold over the seats and reach the rear hatch. Fits between the wheel wells w/ half inch to spare. Incredibly strong too for gear, dogs and whatever. Go get one... $35 well spent. When the seats are up, I just fold it over in half and leave it in the back nice and flat and put stuff on it that way too.
Here's some pics of the current setup. I can't wait to see others' and what you guys do.
*** BTW, I mentioned this over on the 4Runner TRD Pro thread, but wanted to do it here as well. This truck would not have been in my hands and especially this early on if it hadn't been for the incredible efforts and stellar customer care of Terry Torbet, Fleet Sales Mgr at Toyota of Richardson! I've never had a better buying experience, period! Terry is Top Gun caliber and was essential in getting me one of the very first TRD's out of Japan. I cannot thank him enough! If you're in Dallas (Richardson) you may just want to swing by and meet him!

I hope you are a professional photographer. You have a good eye for photo taking.
I'm curious if 285 width tires would fit on the pro with the stock suspension. I already know the 7" rims are fine as I run this width on my stock 7" wide rims.

looks great! Since you're on the fence about it I think swapping out the Nfabs for some functional sliders would be better
