Mine was built in 10/13..... I think mine would be considered an "early 14".

Hi Kostyak,
I think if you go to>Settings>General>Build vers.< it may give you your O.S. number.

Yesterday I dropped in the 5.1 O.S. update. Today I drove my truck about 140 miles; down the jersey shore area. I noticed the Maps have changed 'FOR THE BETTER'! It now shows the Interstate signs Route 80, Route 95, Garden State Parkway... as you go past them, and a few other nice changes! The Phone seems to hook-up (pairing) more quickly then before. ...Before, after getting off of the phone the music wouldn't come back on until I turned the volume up or down, but now it starts playing as soon as I hang up the phone! NICE!

I still haven't had any luck on my 14. I think I'm on 3.2 (almost positive) but I can't see where it designates which version I'm actually on. I've gone into all the proper menus but no luck.
I did however find where the source code can be downloaded. Maybe the programmers among us can figure out some of the units limitations.

Cool...all this Entune and dealer games is kind of a pain. And not sure why update history doesn't list any updates??? I updated when I bought it new in April 2014 and again just a few weeks back. Maybe the Entune OS updates don't get listed under the update history??? Hell if I know.

I wonder if it will do anything to help the issue of not recieving text messaging and emails with my iphone 4s. I spent 2 hours pairing and unpairing. Playing with settings etc. Everything else is good. I have entune on my phone and it works. For those of you who would like to use 'VISUAL' assistance to locate the fuses that protect/energize your headunits:
See (below) the RED and BLUE arrows on the center right-hand side; the Blue arrow acknowledges the Accessory circuit portal (marked ACC) at the headunit. It's function is intermittent: Hot when ON or in START, and protected by a 7.5A fuse. This circuit is de-energized when the vehicle is off. You can follow this Gray wire across the diagram to line number 8, where it leaves the page; you can ignore the hand written arrows on the left-side, N/A.
Next, they both pick up on the adjacent page below, wires numbered 8 and 9;
Here, the Gray wire (number 8) goes to the top of the page where it connects to a 7.5A fuse; as highlighted by the blue arrows. If you follow the RED arrow, it too starts at the hu (marked B+), travels across the diagram page (Blue wire #9) and follows the path that ends at the 30A amp fuse.
Here's the 30A Amp Fuse location marked by the red arrow.
I'm hoping that by pulling the 30A fuse and draining this circuit for a minimum of 4 hrs, the headunit will reboot, deleting corrupt files and allowing an O.S. update (5.1) to take place. Rgds!

Okay I see that... What's labeled on the cover(?); One of those 30A fuses is your AMPLI FUSE, hu couldn't operate w/o it! BTW: the 7.5A fuse mentioned in my above post is located in the driver-side fusebox, sorry... I didn't make that clear because you don't need to pull that fuse; turning the vehicle off de-energizes the circuit!

No, not that fuse! There's a fuse that's 'HOT AT ALL TIMES'; it provides the hu with constant power that allows data to be stored in your navi's processor/hard-drive. Every so often, the processor files get damaged from constant use, file transfers, stored but un-used temp/broken files... much like your lap-top or phone. So pulling the 'HOT AT ALL TIMES' Amplifier (Amp) fuse helps to improve the performance of your navigation system. So you may need to drain that circuit so that the hu can revert back to it's original/default state of operation; much like System Restore will do for your computer. Look in the main fusebox for a 30A fuse that is energizing the hu. It's there somewhere, Cheers!
