There are deals out there!

I am new to the forum since I just bought mine 2 weeks ago and am super excited to be here. For those that think that it impossible to buy a 4Runner at or below invoice, come down to Florida. Clearwater Toyota sold me my Blizzard Pearl SR5 for $500 under invoice. So it is possible. And for those looking for lower rate financing, they got me 3.9 from Suntrust... Happy Shopping..

Uh, under invoice or under MSRP?

Why would they sell it to you for less than they paid for it?

If inventories are high and they are motivated to sell, you can definitely get below dealer invoice. I usually start at $500 under dealer invoice in negotiating, hoping to get the vehicle at invoice or slightly above, but you have to work for it. Dealers get other incentives paid to them from the manufacturer, so the "Dealer Invoice" is really another part of the game they play.

P.S. Negotiating at or under dealer invoice for the 4Runner would be pretty difficult since inventories are down and demand is up.

Try that with a 4x4 Limited w/ 3rd row seat....they'd laugh you right out of the dealership.

Hello everyone,

I just bought my gray metallic limited yesterday for good bit under sticker price. Toyota has just added another $1000 rebate to 4Runner buyers. Check it out at your local dealer.

Not sure what regions have the deal but I received $1,000 rebate yesterday when I purchased my SR5 4x4. They said it had only been going for 2 days now. I am in Memphis, TN.

I was at the dealership yesterday and looked at this TE and it was loaded and was just under $39k.

I do like it's more truck like appearance and with the flat plastic flares and scoop it looks simlar to my '99 more than a 4th gen does.

Under MSRP. I found a dealer in IA that was going to get me a really good deal but the wait was too long. I then went to a local dealer here in Mpls MN and he said that he would match that deal and throw in a backup camera. Ended up getting 3300 off MSRP and getting the truck (with only13 miles on it) in a week and half.

Which dealership did you buy it from? Went to one in Coon Rapids this weekend, and they seemed hesitant to order me a new TE. Was yours on the lot, or did they do a trade to get it?

The dealer usually receives an incentive from the manufacturer called a "Holdback" bonus. So, even if the vehicle is sold at invoice price, the dealer still makes some money. Depending on what the holdback bonus is with Toyota, the dealer may go below invoice and still be in the green.
