Is it possible the radio only accepts so many folders or files on a usb stick before it complains? It doesn't seem like the radio goes deeper than 1 folder either which is a bit of a nuisance.
I think I'll try deleting some folders and also making sure there's no strange characters in the folder names that could be causing the issue. My manual is in the truck outside and it's raining, so I'll maybe check that later tonight as well to see if there's any info on the limitations the stock unit may have.
I do not have the nav unit, just the regular stock radio.

It has to be formatted in old school FAT32 before putting the music on it.
