Lifting my Limited

Hello everyone. I'm new to the board and this is my first post, although I've drooled over your rides in the past.

The Right Toyota dealership in Scottsdale referred me to a company called Total Auto Pros (http://www.totalautopros.com/) --- they are the only people who I've found to lift my 2011 Limited so far.

Here is the Truxxx Kit we plan on using:
http://www.truxxx.com/product/toyota...-X-REAS-System

Does anyone have any suggestions or warnings as to why I shouldn't go with this kit? Please keep in mind that my rig has X-REAS. My 2007 Sport had X-REAS and I used a daystar leveling kit with no problems.

Thanks again.

Just saw this thread:
Truxxx 1.250" Rear spacer does not fit!

But my installer said he talked to Truxxx in great detail and that everything should be fine.

Any ideas?

Does anyone have any suggestions or warnings...

The only warning I have is to those members viewing the above site/link at work... Turn down the volume on your speakers! Found out the hard way

Sorry I couldnt contribute anything worthwhile regarding your thread though, T4RAZ

Well I dropped off my rig for the lift. I feel pretty good about it. As long as they don't remove the shocks or disconnect any lines from the factory suspension (for X-REAS) we should be good.

I will post photos in the sticky thread. WOOT I'm so jazzed and look forward to seeing my ride.

Let us know how it works (and pics too please). According to the other thread linked above, the Truxx rear spacers don't fit. I'd love to do this lift on my 2011 Limited if it works.

Removing the shocks makes it much easier . There are area's to disconnect that and re-connect it without issue. I did it many time's on my 4R Sport (06).

Cant wait to see some pics and hope all goes according to planned .

X-reas

Anxious to see the final product. I hear that if X-REAS is discharged, cost 800.00 for Toyota to recharge the system. May be a myth . . .

If your guys doing the lift know what they're doin you should be good to go. BTW did you ask your guys if they had any experience with xreas system?

Seriously it's just a myth and the also cannot "recharge" the system. Everyone including most of the "highly trained techs" at the dealer don't even know how Xreas works . I ran into the same thing time and time again til I found the right tech and he showed me where to disconnect and never had an issue.

Disclaimer: YES YOU NEED TO KNOW WHERE TO DISCONNECT IT .

Here is the result:

Post your LIFTED pix here!

I had some slight rubbing after I put the tires on and before the lift. My installer said they pushed some plastic back and it's not rubbing anymore. I think they just remove one of the inner plastic panels, but I'm not sure.

It turned out great though!

Love it. That really does look great.

I'm looking at my rim / tire options now...did the 285s fit ok on the stock rims?

Now you have me thinking about a lift for my Limited...

That looks awesome!!! I have never seen the 20" Limited rims look better. The lift and the tires are great.
