New wheels on my 2011 stock TE?
I'm looking to get new rims and tires on my stock black trail edition and I was just wondering what my options would be to get more more rugged, thicker tires.. I really like the Nitto Terra Grapplers or something like those?
Thanks!

Check out tirerack.com. There's also a lot of threads on tires.

I would just paint the trails black like I did.
Black Trails on 285 Destination ATs
Konig Countersteer X's on 285 Duratracs

I went with ballistic enigma 18x9s after seeing them on a Tundra. I picked them up on Ebay for a pretty solid price. If you end up looking them up... just know that the red inserts do come off. I would never want a color scheme on my wheels.

I have a black Trail as well and recently read great things about the Konig Countersteers but can't seem to find much info on them. Anyone know where you can get a set?

Nobody sells them in the states unless you find used but that's a long shot.
The guy that gets them special orders a pallet of them every couple of months and they go quick.
Konig is in Taiwan and the quality is a notch above all the other Chinese wheels IMO.I bought a set last month and I need to buy another single one for my spare when he gets more in.
Here's the thread on them.......... http://www.toyota-4runner.org/sale-s...er-type-x.html
And more pics of them...Love em so far.Simple ,easy to clean and super light. The 4.1 backspace/ -10 offset pushes them out .4" and gives them a noticeable more aggressive look and no rub on the insides. It's hard to believe just a .8" wider stance then the Mojave's I had on is noticeable but it definitely is.

Oh Nice, I read that thread! So you got a pair. Tell me, would they work for the time being with stock size tire? Looks like tire specs indicate 265s can fit an 8" rim.
And I gotta know, what's the Doberman's name??

errrmm CRYA, 2 pair is 4 rims. I know Harper is a mod master, but I don't think he's figured a way to run his rig on 2 wheels. lol
