Eclipse AVN52D Navigation DVD HD Radio Sirius Satellite Ipod adapter

Selling a complete entertainment and navigation package. Sale includes Eclipse AVN52D, Eclipse Sirius Tuner SIR-ECL1, Eclipse HD Radio HDR109 and Peripheral Ipod adapter for Eclipse AVN units. The AVN52D is in perfect working and physical condition. The wires are all brand new and the unit itself was refurbished to new condition. Not a scratch on the screen and works perfectly. The HD Radio is brand new and has never been installed. The Sirius tuner works perfectly. Only the main unit was used. The wires and cables for the sirius tuner are brand new. The tuner also receives subscription with all channels still active. Not sure how long it will stay on but I have a unit in my car that's been on for over a year now and continues to receive subscription. The ipod adapter is brand new and works with all Ipods and Iphones. The AVN52D will come with the latest map software. The AVN52D is identical to the AVN5510 but is black instead of gray. The AVN52D was a dealer option and were only available in car dealerships for customers who wanted to upgrade their Toyota radios to Navigation units. This is the exact unit you would get if you wanted to upgrade your factory radio to a Navigation unit. Eclipse makes all of the navigation units for Toyota and Lexus so integration is very simple. The steering wheel controls plug directly into this AVN52D. No adapters required. You will also use your stock brackets and screws to install this unit into your 4runner or any toyota vehicle. Only thing you will need to install this radio into a Toyota is a wiring adapter ($8.00) and spacers ($10.00). I will also include a manual complete with pictures on how ton install this unit yourself into a 4runner. Asking price for everything below is $550 shipped to anywhere in the continental United States.

FYI, for everyone else, I believe that eclipse is exiting the aftermarket headunit scene ..... all their products are marked discontinued from all the authorized retailers... possibly due to the collapse of Circuit City lol.

Eclipse has indeed discontinued their retail sales department. They are now solely manufacturing oem navigation units for Lexus and Toyota only. Unlike other companies, Eclipse has a partnership with Toyota and with the decline of Circuit City, it's makes more financial sense to no longer stay in the retail market since Circuit City was one of their largest retailers.

Eclipse has not gone out of business. They are still supporting their products and will continue to update their navigation maps. I'm sure others may disagree but Eclipse produces the best audio systems out there. They make stuff that just works and it works great! That's why Toyota/Lexus uses them for almost all their oem audio equiptment. BTW, Fujitsu Ten is the mother company of Eclipse in case anyone didnt know.

This is NOT a Toyota specific head unit, correct?

Meaning it can be installed into ANY vehicle with a double din opening?

This is not a Toyota specific unit. You can install in ANY car with a double din opening. The only toyota specific part is the steering wheel controls. It will plug directly into Toyota vehicles. Any other cars will need a steering wheel control adapter.
