Scion T1808 in 2005 SR5?
Can anyone tell me if a scion T1808 out of a 2008 xb would fit in an 05 SR5? Currently bidding on a T1806 but thought the 1808 might be better. Know the 1806 will fit just not sure about the 1808. Thanks..

Will fit fine. Will only use 1 of the 2 antenna leads. VERY easy install. There are instructions for similar installs on this forum including removing the nessessary console / dash panels to access it. I have it in my 2005 and sounds better. Play with the "SSP" button when you get it for different soundfield settings. It can also be customized with a brief saying upon startup!

i have the 1809 in mine and i love it.
the fascination is that for a very low price, you can get a 160 watt headunit that looks factory, sounds great, and does much more than the factory one. I use my ipod a lot and can tuck it away and out of sight and change songs from the radio and steering wheel, and i get the title and artist displayed on the unit. i also added a custom background to it with a 9 second clip of a nice motoGP battle. lol. for the $148 i spent, i have no complaints. |
