Hello, Just wondering if anyone knows where there is or if there is a spot to install a coolant temperature SWITCH, not a sensor an actual on/off temperature switch, i want to retrofit a electric fan and remove the the clutch fan, i just need a spot to put the switch in to control the relay to the fan. Or if anyone can point me in a direction to a thread about this if it has been done? I searched but dint find what i needed. i will try and look for a spot for the switch.
Unless anyone knows if there is a coupler i can adapt to the upper radiator hose that is made to installed a switch or temp sensor to?
try searching the flexalite fan or the ford taurus fan mod.
I have a ford taurus electric fan in my 90 4runner with a Haydedn thermostatic/adjustable switch and it automatically kicks on at 190 degrees or constant when the AC is running.no buttons or toggle switches to dik with. I will probably be installing a toggle to cut all power to the fan for water crossings soon though
feel like I whore these pics, but here are a few of my swap and the old stuff I yanked out
VERY good info here
My Hayden Kit is only powering the low speed of the taurus fan... Which does an awesome job keeping the runner cool. I can only imagine how awesome the high speed is
