22re Timing Chain problem

So I decided to replace my timing chain a few weeks ago. On reassembly I noticed something didn't look right. Correct me if I'm wrong, but there shouldn't be that much slack on the right side should there? Its a brand new chain and all the marks are lined up...

I beleive correct me if I'm wrong but I belive the right side should be tight and the left side with the tensioner should be lose?

As the motor spins, the drivers side of the chain will have tension and the slack on the passenger side should be taken up by the tensioner. If the motor is sitting on TDC and the crank and cam timing marks are lined up, then it's fine.

The tensioner is out because there is more slack on the right than on the left. I called the cloyes technician and he was saying something about "clocking the cam and the crank to move tension to the other side." Not sure what he was talking about. If @KidVermicious thinks it's good then that's good enough for me

I think you're fine, but please be danged sure the sprockets are lined up because I don't want you to eat a valve and blame me . From the amount of slack in your pic, it looks like your cam sprocket might be rotated off slightly. You'll know you're dead on when you can start from TDC just like you are and take up all that slack on the drivers side just by rotating the crank sprocket a touch clockwise. Obviously having the tensioner in there will help.
