C'mon guys. Everyone knows size doesn't matter.
Spoken like a guy with small ... tires.

I'm actually wanting to upgrade to 35" Toyo Open Country RTs with the 4th gen.. though I may downsize to a 34"... it depends on how much I want to fight the wheel wells.
Your post made me go outside and gave a hug with heart to my 4Runner...That is all.
I guess I'm on his hate list.

So what if I want to run 22" hella wide rims with stretched rubber band MTs and a 3" lowering kit? You think I could stance that "hella flush?"

I think he meant he couldn't go with smaller wheels because of the calipers (with the same diameter tires).I said UNDER 33. Yours are just barely acceptable, but don't think I'm not watching you...

There you happy now?
Toyo Open Country R/T LT35x12.5x17 on 17x9 Fuel Beast wheels. Now I have to do all this stupid hammering and trimming and other BS because you thought my old 33's on 17" factory wheels are borderline acceptable.
I hope you're proud of yourself! I can't even fit my spare under the truck! :rockthrow:

If my needling in any way prompted this change to big boy tires then I'll gladly take the credit.
To the extent that my opinion of your truck's appearance matters at all, that does look pretty fawkin' sweet! How are you liking the RTs so far?
