I agree with you about Toyota's alignment specs. I have a 2011 TE 4Runner and it's been to the alignment place 5 times now to get the thing straight. I'm over it!!!!, and actually considering getting an attorney to lemon law the vehicle. What did you experience with your 4R? For some reason, this damn thing always drifts to the right no matter what road it's driving down. Let me know what you think, because next time I take it in for service, I'm gonna ask the service manager about it. Thanks, Andy.

can you tell me what rack and ladder you have on the 4runner? Does the system hold weight ok going up and down to load (or star gaze)? I weigh 220-would that work for me?

I also live in Maryland (Laurel) and I am finding the price is pretty much the same at all dealers, but I have not dealt with anyone in person just over the phone or e-mail. Does the Gobi rack install with any existing roof rack rails etc.
my 2011 TE came naked...no roof rails etc...by the looks of it ,the
gobi rack bolts right up to the roof rack mounts right?

i was looking over your threads as well as okki's and had a quick question.


i've got some lights on order (ipf968csg) and was planning on using an aftermarket day star switch instead of the supplied ipf mouse switch.

the question is, if i want the led light in the day star rocker switch to only go on when the key is in to acc/on do i need to add the "add a switch/fuse" to the oval shaped no smoking sign on the switch map/diagram you took a picture of?

also, would the wire from the add a switch go to the 12v supply male connecter on the back of the switch?

What would you like? I figure the value of that shelf is about $100 or so? Are there any products you need right now? I know my shop is a drive from you, but I can offer services as well. Any particular programming things you're interested in? Maybe "all windows down with the key fob"? Set of PIAA bulbs for hi and lo? Let me know. I really like the shelf.
