No. Common hand tools, (wrenches), and the spring compressor. That's it.

I got Cornfed kit from Jason. The only tools you need is set of wrenches and coil spring compressor. It will be much better if you'll have someone to help you. 3-4 hours and you can do it yourself.

Enjoy the New Year!
I love the new lift, I've been tossing around the idea for a while. I settled for new wheels for now, then maybe a lift down the road with bigger tires, who knows.

Anyway, I'm in CO also and I'm wondering what Toyota dealership you are talking about in the above quote. I'm in the Denver area and I've been wondering what "cool" dealership to take my modded 4Runner to and not catch any sh*t about warranty voiding.

I spoke to the manager at Burt over on Broadway.

We will have to see what happens in reality if I ever need to have something fixed.

Looks good. you just need some new tire's now. I never rotated my stock donflaps, and by 15,000 they were toast. That gave me a reason to get BFG's. I have a Daystar lift, and it handles not at good as stock with the BFG's. They howl when pushed. But i still ove them.

ok set me straight...and before someone points me to the search button, you gotta realize there's a ton of conflicting opinions on this...

Jason's site says you can run a 285/70/17 with this lift...other people are saying 275 tops, others 265.

so what's the final absolute on maximum tire size before this start getting cut?

thanks for answer this question, yet again

hey i just installed new wheels and tires on my 05 4runner with a cornfed lift. I was able to squeeze 285's in there with the right wheels. You need to get 17x8's with -.6mm offset (Im not exactly sure what backspacing I have). Thatll make it clear the upper a arm. With the stock rims it rubs the upper a arm at full lock. Hope that helps. So if you want 285's you will need new wheels and do a little bit of trimming on the plastic but nothing important or major.
