Nice work, Thai. Almost as nice as a 4R wheelin'.
I liked your friends' comments about your white knuckles

Really great videos. On the 'G vs Rockledge' video, I didn't think it would make it and it went up no problem. That is a great vehicle.

Also, I am not so sure how helpful your friends are, thier hands signs are somewhat confusing.

Yeah...our goal next time...only ONE person gives the signs, instead of the whole group! I take every obstacle as slow as possible without losing momentum.

Nice vids of the G and one of few that ever see off road. I work over in Cherry Creek here in Denver and I saw two and those owners would have a heart attack seeing your vids.

As promised...more off-roading video from the trip above.

2004 OME-lifted 4runner V6 vs. Hillclimb (same hill as my 2nd video above):

http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...32267475235715

2003 Jeep Rubicon vs. Mudpit:

http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...57865515394660

Rubicon vs. Rockledge: (It was way too easy for Rubi! Being lightweight sure helped!)

http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...32866318363632

Enjoy.

How do you think the 4runner would have faired on that hill without the ome lift?

You really could see the atrac making the open differential act like a limited slip coming up that hill.

Yup, ATRAC worked as advertised. Pretty cool technology. BTW, the ATRAC on the 4runner is better (aka more aggressive) than the ATRAC on my G.

I think that the OME lift helped, but i don't think that it made a big difference. There was not much clearance issue on that hillclimb...the rocks were not that big.

Thanks anyway. I haven't come across very many vids of 4th gen 4runners wheeling and was hoping you might have a few more. Thanks for sharing the ones you do have. Great vids.
