For sale is a used Whitson Metalworks 3/4 steel roof rack. One of a limited number in existence!
Measures 41" x 57" x 4", made to fit the 3rd gen 4Runner (esp. those with a sunroof). Originally shipped as bare steel for $375—here's the original post about the rack from Whitson back in 2012).
Price: $250. Local pickup only (Aurora, IL—west suburbs of Chicago)
This roof rack has spent most of its life in the Southwest. It's now just endured its first Chicago winter and has a bit of surface rust. The previous owner cut out a couple of squares in the mesh.
This is an AWEsome rack—solid, rugged, and easy on the eye. It just needs a new coat of paint, or powder coat. I have no need for a roof rack at the moment and would like to shed some weight from the rig.
