Some pictures of my trip to Colorado...4Runner, etc

We went out to Colorado last week (Ft. Collins>Estes Park>RMNP>Winter Park>Grand Lake>Denver) and I took some pics of my 4Runner with the topper on it in front of some mountains, etc

And I put my Yakima Megawarrior (with extension) on last night and got my running boards installed today. So thought it was time to post some pictures.

Also replaced the radio with the new Sony double din cd player. The cd player is pretty cool. It has USB hookup so I ran that into my glove box and have my iPod hooked up so it will control charge it. It will also control/charge an iPhone.

That's pretty cool! I was in Estes, RMNP, and Grand Lake last week too! Maybe we passed each other and didn't know it....here'a pic from the Alpine Visitor Center at 11,796 feet...awesome place by the way. I recommend it.

Capthoward, we went through RMNP on Thursday...half of it was fogged and you couldn't see 30 feet in front of you and then the rest of the way was awesome. Why do we live in the South again? :cursin:

I went through on Wednesday(a week ago) and it was foggy about halfway up and then nice and clear the rest of the way. I ended up going down through Grand Lake, then I turned up CO125(I think) and went all the way to Walden and then back to Ft. Collins via HWY14. It was a spectacular drive...I've lived in Atlanta most of my life and I didn't want to come back. Sweet tea....that's what ties me to the south. Can't beat it!

Cool, so you went in the Estes Park way too. Yeah the fog was very unforgiving.

When you ask for sweet tea that far out west they look at you like you are asking for mud in a cup...if they only knew!

Thank goodness for Chick-fil-a! They carry sweet tea at all their locations, even CO! They still look at you funny when you order it though...:wtf:

wow, didnt know that about chickfil-a, will have to try that next time, was just there today.

Piperoo... the runner looks great, I was wondering how it would turn out without fender flares, turns out it looks great, at least from your pic angles from what I can see... what do you think?

Thanks man. Well, it would probably look better with fender flares, but I have no idea where to find them without spending an arm and a leg...but it looks fine...sticks out a little but most people won't even notice.

hey i'm loving that deck i can't stand the single din cd players with the stupid pocket underneath i like keeping things semi-stock looking do you got a model number on that deck? and also do you have any sort of lift on or are your tires stock like mine, and what rack is that(load warrior mega warrior, super ultra mega barabra strisand warrior?), really interested as i just got mine an it looks to be the same year/model as yours.:driving: thanks man!

The headunit is a SONY WX-GT77UI. They sell for $250 but you can get them off of eBay for $180-190 new. Pretty cool unit, you can have either the blue lights or the green lights...also I ran the USB cable to my glove box and keep my iPod in there ALL the time as the head unit controls and charges the iPod! It will also work with an iPhone!

I don't have a lift, mine is stock.

The rack is a Yakima MegaWarrior I think. I put an 18" extension in it so it is close to 6' long I think.

piperoo-you've got a nice runner!

I really like the headunit. I gotta upgrade my factory headunit to something better. I hope that I will find something as cool looking as yours that will work with my runner.

Not looking to spend a ton of money, just a new head unit and speakers. Don't think I need to go component, do i?

How do i know which tweeters will fit in the stock mounts up on the door?
