Hi everyone, I am Mike. I am new to Toyota's so new in fact that I have not purchased one but I was bitten by the bug and have been searching for the right one. This started as I was looking for a replacement for my trusty 2000 Grand Cherokee with 270k and still in great shape but I am tired of it and the little issues which have become a safety issue.
My wife wants a vehicle with 3rd row for the kids and their friends, hauling, ect. I am looking for a good Sequoia for her but I am looking at the 4 runner as I need more of the off road capability, versatility and in a nimble platform. What has really brought me in was the reliability, strong well designed construction, body on frame design, ect. I am no stranger to wrenching and I am always building something, as my name says I have build a Diesel Wrangler after the original 4cyl gave up.
I have some questions to ask specifically and I will post them in the forum instead of here. I have been reading through many of your discussions soaking up all that I can. I joined because this seems to be a good group with knowledgeable individuals with a good atmosphere.
