I have a lead on a Scion T1809 headunit which I understand to be made by Pioneer. I have also seen the max power rating on the unit as 40W x 4, which probably means the RMS power of the deck is anywhere from 12-16 watts RMS.
I have not seen a published value for the power of the typical non-JBL 4Runner Headunits, does anyone know what they put out?
I'll be replacing my speakers in the T4R but don't want to swap the Toyota HU for the Scion HU if I don't need to.
I won't be going aftermarket because I don't want to lose my steering controls and I don't want to have to install the pacific SWI.
