What do you think about these Wrangler Duratrac Tires???

I've heard good things about these tires, they are pretty new.I think its an awesome looking tire. Its like a hybrid MT/AT.

These tires just hit the market a couple of months ago so I can't see there being alot of reliable info about them either good or bad.
I thought about them but I'm going to stick with another set of Nittos which are about $20 cheaper a tire and my first set impressed me bu those GY do look good.

Yeah I'm a grappler fan myself, but if I go ahead and get the grappler's then my truck is going to look exactly like yours does Ron Maiden. Actually I was set on the grapplers until I stumbled across these Good Years so I will be happy to test them out for everyone. Its going to be a few more weeks though but when I get them I'll snap a few new pics. :awais:

Here in AZ, Discount tire show me at $886 out the door, about $75 more then the Grapplers. The more I stare at the picture the more my mouth starts to water. Currently I am running some kind of Good Year street tires that came on the truck when I bought it. They suck offroad to say the least!!!

D load range will be cheaper and more appropriate for the weight of a 3rd gen. E load will ride very stiff.
I got quoted $750ish for the Nittos out the door at Discount with the road hazard certificates and just under $700 w/o.
Discount's on-line site has cheaper prices and they will match in-store.

So out of C and E which one would be better.

FYI, if you live near and are a member of Costco Wholesale Warehouse, they sell Michelin and BF Goodrich tires exclusively and cheaper.
BFG All-Terrain T/A KO are $144 each last time I checked (a month ago)

Basically there is 1" difference between 70 and 75.

they look sweet! & a (E) load range holds up great offroad.( more sidewall strength) maybe seem a tad heavier on the street, but at the right air pressure, they might just be smooth on the street. not every E range tire rides rough, i have E load mickey thompson on mine & on the highway, its very smooth. the compounds on alot of the the tires now adays is somewhat softer & much better than before , one reason the newer gen. of mud terrain tires ride & handle better on the street then bygone days. id say, get em, bet theyll be just fine. let us know how they turn out if you get them.
