Hey all,
We had a great time yesterday! No FJ's showed up...that's OK...we had Xterras out this time.
Group consisted of: my G500 (31" BFG AT KO, sliders), my brother's Jeep Rubicon (2" lift, tummy tuck), perfectly modified Rubicon (huge lift, 35" MT/R, winch, armor, etc.), OME-lifted 4runner (32" BFG AT KO, sliders), lifted 2006 Xterra (32" stock tires, disconnected both sway bars, sliders), and 2004 Xterra (1st gen, stock).
We all aired down to about 20 psi.
Damage report:
- 2004 Xterra transmission or transfer case went KAPUT! going up the first hill climb. It was probably the transfer case...and was probably not working BEFORE the off-roading. The driver did NOT do anything wrong during the hillclimb to break it. The temperature gauge went up...so, it was a faulty unit. The driver never has used the 4x4 system before.
- My G500 suffered a slight scraping of one rim and scratch marks on the plastic endcaps of the front bumper
- OME-lifted 4runner scraped the hell out of one rim, along with busted Toyota centercap.
Ok...enough chit-chat...here are the VIDEO & pics:
