Installed: Dark Bronze SCS Ray 10 Wheels + 275 KO2 Tires on Stock Lift

First 'mod' to the new rig...

Last night I had the the 275-70-17 KO2's mounted on the Dark Bronze Ray 10's and they look fantastic. Truck has a stock lift, and I had to remove the front mudflaps unfortunately.

In reverse, the tires rub at the rear inside the front fenders when turning approx ~80% lock (I'm just guessing here). So far, going forward, no rubbing.

I'm hoping that a mild <2" lift + 1.25" spacers cures the issue. Plus I want a bit more 'poke' with the wheels.

In any event, I love the contrast of the dark bronze against the black and the aggressive look of the tires. I'm very happy with the purchase.

Only thing yet to decide is whether to mount the spare SCS wheel / tire underneath the truck, or just leave the stock spare.

I think that's the grease they use during mounting.

Looks good! I would hold off on putting a spare scs wheel in the stock spare location until you have a wheel carrier or steel bumper. Last thing you would want to do is have the rear drop on rock or ledge and have it damage the wheel. Plus there is no reason to hide that beautiful rim.

285s will fit, but you WILL have to do some cutting and trimming. A lot of guys here run 285s albeit with some kind of lift, but search the forum for other people's setups. There are a lot of threads.

Lift will help you.....spacers will make it likely to rub.

Man those wheels look really nice! Would love a set in that color for my truck. Having said that, aren't you guys scared of scuffing up these beautiful wheels offroad? I look at my 1.5 yr old FN Wheels and they are heavily scratched up from all my 4x4 trips. Is that faux beadlock edge replaceable?

It's a one piece design (I have the similar SR8s). Scratches are a sign that you use your truck for its intended purpose

. Would probably be easier to touch up than the whole body of the wheel though.

I’m not sure yet. I might do the black F5’s for my 17 Pro down the road. I had the bronze Stealth6’s on my Tacoma and sold them with all my other mods.

Great color combo, love the dark bronze on the white! Just curious if you ended up doing that 2” lift? I’m planning on a 2” lift with those SCS dark bronze if they ever get them in stock again..

Nice. You just removed the front mud flaps and no more rubbing? Cant wait to put my SCS Ray10 Matte Black on stock then.

I was thinking about putting the bronze version on my White TRDOR as well. Would a stock size ko2 be too narrow for this 8.5" wide rim?
