Here's the 275/70r17 GYW SA pictures I promised. Sorry for the delay. I liked these tires over the BFG T/A's because they provide the off road ruggedness but without the very rough look.

I think they are taller than the spec 32.2" They increased ground clearance over the original 265/65r17's by slightly more than 1 inch.

So far, all is great. The 275/70r17 GYW SA tires are working just fine with no lift or other mods needed. However I did move the front plastic inter-fender piece a little more forward, very easy. 3 screws into plastic at the bottom.

Not noisy.
6.3% error in odometer, no big deal.
Not sure about MPG yet.

The very slight rubbing of the UCA, only at full turn, is of no concern and totally negligible.

Hope these pics will help those who are interested in these tires and those who 1st said these tires would not work on the 4R.

I think they look a little too big. I'd have to get more than a leveling lift if I wanted to go with that tire size. Look at how stuffed the back tire even looks (horizontally, not the vertical clearance above the wheel) with the stock spring.

You should go with a 2/1 lift at the minimum!

Yep!! This car is screaming for a lift. Note, I even included that in my tag line.
 
Do you think the LT's have a stiffer ride than what you had before ? I assume you has stock tires "P" 's ???

Why your Nitto's look fine with the 265's.

I like the looks of the 275 , but for me I'd have to switch the spare and buy 5 tires.

The 275's probably would have taken some of the affects of my lift away by filling the wheel wells so much more. Although I wonder about other possibilities, I am happy with the choice I made. I might get bigger tires like 285's after my Nitto's wear out in a few years, and switch my 2/1 to a 3/2 lift.
 
I wonder if those 275s will fit in the spare tire location.
ProMed is running 275s but in 18" and they are almost the exact same diameter as the GY SA and his fit.

FYI: A lift change alone will not help the 285 UCA rub problem.

No problem. The 275 fit's right in. (I do not have a hitch)
